This was very simple to make. I made two of the 'motif mitten' version because it had much more color than the 'Scandinavian mitten' version. I used 14 count Aida. The color is "natural" by Charles Craft (DMC) and it's yellowish, which I don't like. I used DMC 304 medium red and 931 medium antique blue but wish I'd gone with a much deeper blue. Each took around 5 yards of floss.

Measurments- Finished size is exactly 3"x4.25" on 14 count Aida and I used a black 5"x7" frame for each.

I made both using an 8"x15" scrap piece of fabric that I cut in half, so I got three uses total out of one $4.15 piece of fabric. Total cost for chart, Aida scrap, two frames and two skeins of floss was $22.

Fall is my favorite time of year and I think this is very cute. Finished size is 3.25"x6.25". I used a piece of 14 count black Charles Craft (DMC) Aida. I used DMC floss 921 copper, 729 medium old gold for the last pumpkin and the words 'autumn harvest', and 3052 medium grey green. All of this was leftover floss from the Rooster cross stitch I'd done recently. I only had half the amount of copper needed so I had to by a new skein of it. The bird on top of the green pumpkin was just something left over from a Dimensions kit. I used a dark brown 5"x7" picture frame and that's the smallest size you can use for this design. I didn't think a black frame against black fabric would look good so I went with brown. I thought it would look alright with the mixed colors of the design. Of my two photos, the one on top most represents what it looks like in person, but it's slightly less bright.

Total Cost- I only needed about 1/3 of my piece of fabric and I had to buy just one skein of floss, pattern, and a frame. That cost $13 total.
